2. Proceedings

a. Opening

• The meeting commenced with a silent prayer.
• The conference was inaugurated by Rev. Father James Mullassery, President of USPC, who also delivered the welcome speech.
• Dignitaries from each state were warmly welcomed with gifts.

b. First Panel Discussion

• Topic: Key issues faced by schools due to CBSE imposition of rules on different regulations
• Panel Members:
  - Mr. A.T.B. Bose – Tamil Nadu
  - Dr. Saini – Punjab
  - R.D. Singh Riar – Chandigarh
  - Sanjeev – Haryana
  - Dr. G.N. Var – Jammu & Kashmir
  - A representative from Kerala
• The session highlighted major challenges schools encounter due to regulatory impositions by CBSE.

c. Lunch

• Lunch was served at 1:00 PM.

d. Second Panel Discussion

• Topic: Implementation of National Education Policy 2020 and its key issues
• The same panelists deliberated on the challenges and opportunities posed by NEP 2020 implementation.

e. Committee Formation

• Committees were formed to address the issues raised in both discussions, ensuring follow-up actions and representation from all participating states.

f. Closing

• The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Shri Krishnakanth GS, member of USPC.

3. Post-Conference Activities

• Delegates were taken on a boat ride in the Kerala backwaters for sightseeing.
• The day concluded with dinner at 8:00 PM.

- Recognition of challenges faced by unaided schools under CBSE regulations.

- Identification of hurdles in the implementation of NEP 2020.

- Formation of state-level and inter-state committees to collectively address issues.
